In mid-2023, a few musical friends got together to explore the idea of starting a new New Orleans jazz band. Soon after, some fellow musicians with a feel for this music joined the adventure.
Tubaluba plays traditional New Orleans Jazz but loves to make musical detours into other genres — from blues to classical.

VACANCY Trombonist
Tubaluba is looking for a new member! We are a six-piece jazz band from South Limburg (Maastricht area) playing New Orleans jazz and more. The “more” includes other genres such as blues, funk, pop, rock, bossa nova, samba, and even classical.
We’re looking for a trombone player (m/f) aged 50+ with a heart for (jazz) music, someone who enjoys making music together and shaking off the daily routine. We’re not chasing commercial success, but we do perform regularly.
